How HelpfulAmiga collects, uses, and protects your information.

HelpfulAmiga ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. HelpfulAmiga is operated by HelpfulAmiga LLC, located at Afton Meadow Lane, Cary, North Carolina.
We collect the information you provide when creating an account (name, email address), your conversations with Amiga, preferences you set in the app (voice choice, language), and usage data like pages visited and features used. If you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
We use your information to provide and personalize the HelpfulAmiga experience, including powering conversations with Amiga, remembering your preferences, sending appointment reminders, and improving the app. We may send you transactional emails (welcome messages, subscription updates) from hello@helpfulamiga.com.
We work with trusted third-party services to operate HelpfulAmiga: Anthropic (Claude AI powers Amiga's conversations), Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Microsoft (voice synthesis). These providers have their own privacy policies and process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for basic usage analytics. On our public marketing pages only (home, sign-in, gift, terms, privacy), we use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized session replays so we can improve the website experience — all text input is masked and we never record any private content inside the app. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.
We keep your account data and conversation history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is preserved so you can pick up where you left off if you return. If you want your data deleted entirely, email hello@helpfulamiga.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile in Settings, change your language preference anytime, and request a full data export or deletion by emailing hello@helpfulamiga.com. We will respond within 30 days.
HelpfulAmiga is designed for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, secure authentication through Supabase, and strict access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take every reasonable step to protect your information.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of HelpfulAmiga after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
