These Terms of Service govern your use of HelpfulAmiga. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. HelpfulAmiga is operated by HelpfulAmiga LLC, located at Afton Meadow Lane, Cary, North Carolina.
HelpfulAmiga is a wellness companion, not a medical provider. Everything Amiga shares — recipes, product suggestions, reminders, and conversation — is for informational and emotional support only. None of it replaces professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare team before making changes to your care.
Amiga is powered by artificial intelligence. She is warm, present, and genuinely helpful — but she is not a licensed therapist, doctor, or counselor. Her suggestions are just that: suggestions. If something doesn't feel right, trust your own instinct and your care team first.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. If you are in emotional crisis, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988). HelpfulAmiga is not an emergency service and cannot provide real-time crisis intervention.
Products shown in HelpfulAmiga are hand-picked suggestions curated for people going through treatment. We may earn a small commission through affiliate links (like Amazon Associates) at no extra cost to you. Product availability, pricing, and ingredients may change without notice. Always check labels and consult your care team, especially for sensitivities or allergies.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use HelpfulAmiga. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used in ways that could harm other users.
HelpfulAmiga is a paid subscription service at $24.99/month. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — your access continues through the end of your current billing period.
We want you to feel good about HelpfulAmiga. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of your most recent charge at hello@helpfulamiga.com and we will issue a full refund for that billing period. Refunds are limited to one per customer. After the 7-day window, charges are non-refundable, but you can always cancel to prevent future charges.
Your privacy matters deeply to us. Conversations with Amiga are processed through Anthropic's Claude AI. We do not sell your data. For full details on what we collect and how we protect it, see our Privacy Policy.
HelpfulAmiga is provided "as is." We do our best to be accurate and helpful, but we make no warranties about the completeness or reliability of any content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HelpfulAmiga LLC's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim. You assume all risk related to your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you through the app. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
